Vietnamese Shaking Beef (Bò Lúc Lắc) with Jasmine Rice

- Beef Sirloin Steak180 g
- Jasmine Rice120 g
- Fish Sauce10 ml
- Bell Pepper70 g
- Onion50 g
- Garlic10 g
- Tomato30 g

- Vegetable Oil10 ml
- Soy Sauce15 ml
- Oyster Sauce5 ml
- Sugar5 g
- Lettuce30 g
Instructions

Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions. Keep warm.

Cut beef sirloin into 2-3 cm cubes. Mince garlic. Dice bell pepper and onion into similar sized pieces as the beef.

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper to make the sauce.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until smoking. Add beef cubes and sear quickly on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Remove beef from the pan and set aside. Add a little more oil if needed, then add minced garlic, diced onion, and bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender-crisp.
