Beef Sirloin200 g
Jasmine Rice150 g
Bell Pepper50 g
Onion30 g
Garlic5 g
Vegetable Oil5 ml
Soy Sauce10 ml
Oyster Sauce5 ml
Sugar3 g
Black Pepper2 g
Cilantro5 g

Instructions

Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions. Keep warm.

Cut beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes. Mince garlic. Slice bell pepper and onion into bite-sized pieces.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper for the sauce.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until smoking. Add beef cubes and sear quickly for 2-3 minutes until browned on all sides, but still rare in the center. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

Add minced garlic, bell pepper, and onion to the same pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender-crisp.

Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce. Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the beef is coated and cooked to your desired doneness.

Serve immediately with hot jasmine rice, garnished with fresh cilantro.
