A comforting and hearty Slovenian dinner featuring a tender pan-fried pork cutlet, served alongside 'pražen krompir' (sautéed potatoes with onion) and traditional sauerkraut.
Ingredients

- Olive Oil14 ml
- Salt1 pinch
- Black Pepper1 pinch
- Pork Loin250 g
- Potato250 g
- Sauerkraut150 g
- Sweet Paprika5 g
Instructions

Peel and dice the potatoes into small, even cubes. Finely chop the onion.

Heat half of the olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and tender. Season with salt and pepper. Remove potatoes from the pan and set aside.

While potatoes cook, season the pork loin cutlet generously with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika.

Add the remaining olive oil to the same pan. Place the seasoned pork cutlet in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely browned.

In a small saucepan, gently warm the sauerkraut over low heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
