Steak and Broccoli Stir-fry with Rice

Ingredients (Serves 1)

raw steak265 g
broccoli florets150 g
onion, sliced50 g
garlic, minced5 g
ginger, minced5 g
cooked rice130 g
soy sauce15 ml
olive oil12 ml
salt0.5 g
black pepper0.5 g

Instructions

Thinly slice the raw steak against the grain.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.

Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.

Add steak strips and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove steak from the pan and set aside.

Add broccoli florets and sliced onion to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the steak to the pan.

Pour the soy sauce mixture over the steak and vegetables and stir to coat.

Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve the stir-fry immediately over the cooked rice.
