Steak and Bell Pepper Fajitas

Ingredients (Serves 1)

steak, top round or sirloin, raw348 g
bell pepper, sliced75 g
onion, sliced75 g
garlic, minced5 g
cumin5 g
chili powder5 g
olive oil9 ml
salt1 g
black pepper0.5 g
small corn tortilla2 pcs

Instructions

Slice the raw steak against the grain into thin strips.

In a bowl, toss the steak strips with half of the olive oil, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced bell pepper and onion and cook until softened and slightly charred, about 7-10 minutes. Add minced garlic in the last minute.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. Add the marinated steak strips in a single layer.

Cook the steak for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

Stir the vegetables and steak together.

Warm the corn tortillas according to package instructions ( skillet, microwave, or oven).

Serve the steak and vegetable mixture with the warm tortillas.
