Ingredients (Serves 1)

Beef steak200 g
Olive oil10 ml
Lime juice15 ml
Cumin3 g
Paprika3 g
Chilli powder2 g
Garlic powder1 g
Salt2 g
Black pepper1 g
Bell pepper150 g
Yellow onion100 g
Tortilla60 g
Salsa50 g
Plain yogurt30 g

Instructions

Slice the beef steak against the grain into thin strips.

In a bowl, combine the beef strips with 5 ml olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, chilli powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat evenly.

Let the beef marinate at room temperature for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Slice the bell peppers and yellow onion into thin strips.

Heat the remaining 5 ml olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced bell peppers and onion and sauté for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and slightly browned.

Push the vegetables to the side of the pan.

Add the marinated beef strips to the empty side of the pan in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding).

Cook the beef for 3-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.

Stir the beef and vegetables together to combine.

Warm the tortillas according to package instructions (e.g., briefly in a dry skillet or microwave).
