Heavy Cream50 ml

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt. Mix thoroughly by hand for 2-3 minutes until the mixture becomes sticky and cohesive. This is crucial for the kofta to hold its shape during cooking.

Step 2: Divide the mixture into 2-3 equal portions and shape each into a small, uniform cylindrical or oval kofta. Ensure they are compact and firm.

Step 3: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of ghee. Once shimmering, carefully place the kofta into the pan. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove the kofta from the pan and set aside, keeping warm.

Step 4: In the same skillet (do not clean it), add the heavy cream and a small amount of ghee. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Reduce the cream for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens into a rich, glossy sauce. Season with a pinch of salt to taste.

Step 5: Return the cooked kofta to the pan with the sauce, spooning the sauce over them to coat. Serve immediately.
