Maple Syrup4.7 ml

Instructions

If using pre-cooked brown rice, warm it according to package instructions. If using instant brown rice, prepare it now.

Slice the seitan into strips or cubes. Chop the broccoli into florets, slice the bell pepper, and julienne the carrot.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup to make the stir-fry sauce.

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add the seitan to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.

Pour the stir-fry sauce over the seitan and vegetables. Toss to coat evenly and cook for 1 minute until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve the stir-fry immediately alongside the brown rice and top with sliced avocado.
