Beef Steak (e.g., sirloin)150 g
Bell Peppers (mixed colors)100 g
Onion50 g
Garlic5 g
Olive Oil15 ml
Chili Powder4 g
Cumin3 g
Paprika3 g
Salt2 g
Lime Juice10 ml

Instructions

Thinly slice the beef steak against the grain.

Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Mince the garlic.

In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, and salt.

Heat the olive oil in a large pan or skillet over high heat until very hot.

Add the sliced beef and sear quickly on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium-high, add the sliced peppers and onion to the pan, and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and slightly browned, about 8-10 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and the spice mix to the pan and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Return the beef to the pan and toss to combine with the vegetables and spices. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until beef is cooked through and heated.

Squeeze fresh lime juice over the saute just before serving.
