Seared Steak and Mixed Vegetables

Ingredients
- bell pepper, sliced100 g
- broccoli florets100 g
- onion, sliced50 g
- garlic, minced10 g
- bell pepper, sliced100 g
- olive oil6 ml
- salt1 g
- black pepper1 g
- steak, top round or sirloin, raw280 g
- ginger, minced5 g
- soy sauce15 ml
Instructions

Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat a large pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add a small amount of olive oil (about 3 ml).

Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time for desired doneness. Let the steak rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

While the steak rests, add the remaining olive oil (about 3 ml) to the same pan.

Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
