Savory Ground Beef and Root Vegetable Hash

Instructions

Wash and peel 480g potatoes and 180g carrots. Dice them into small, even-sized pieces (approx. 1 cm cubes). Finely chop 120g onion and mince 12g garlic. (7 minutes)

Heat 18ml olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add 600g ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Drain any excess fat. (4 minutes)

Add the diced potatoes, carrots, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables start to soften. (3 minutes)

Stir in 6g paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour in 180ml beef broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp. (5 minutes)
