Quick Pork and Cabbage Stir-fry with Rice

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Pork Loin225 g
White Cabbage150 g
Carrot50 g
Onion50 g
Garlic5 g
Rice35 g
Soy Sauce15 ml
Rapeseed Oil7.5 g
Caraway Seeds2.5 g
Salt1 pinch
Black Pepper1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the rice according to package instructions. While rice cooks, prepare other ingredients.

Step 2: Slice the pork loin into thin strips. Shred the white cabbage, julienne the carrot, thinly slice the onion, and mince the garlic.

Step 3: Heat the rapeseed oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork strips and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove pork and set aside.

Step 4: Add the onion, carrot, and caraway seeds to the same skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion softens.

Step 5: Add the shredded cabbage and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the cabbage is tender-crisp.

Step 6: Return the cooked pork to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss everything together to combine and heat through.

Step 7: Serve the pork and cabbage stir-fry immediately alongside the cooked rice.
