Quick Pork and Cabbage Sauté with Boiled Potatoes

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Pork300 g
Potato400 g
Cabbage300 g
Carrot100 g
Onion80 g
Garlic10 g
Oil16 ml
Paprika4 g
Salt2 g
Pepper1 g
Water100 ml

Instructions

Peel the potatoes and place them in a pot with enough cold water to cover. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 15-18 minutes.

While potatoes cook, thinly slice the pork into strips. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika (3 minutes).

Thinly slice the cabbage, carrot, and onion. Mince the garlic (5 minutes).

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until browned on all sides, about 4 minutes. Remove pork from the pan and set aside.

Add the sliced onion and carrot to the same pan and sauté until slightly softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the sliced cabbage and minced garlic to the pan. Stir and cook until the cabbage begins to wilt, about 4 minutes.

Return the pork to the pan. Add the water and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes to allow flavors to meld (4 minutes).

Drain the boiled potatoes. Serve the pork and cabbage sauté alongside the potatoes.
