Quick Pan-Seared Pork and Leeks

Pork300 g
Leeks100 g
Garlic5 g
Olive oil15 ml
Water50 ml
Salt2 g

Instructions

Slice 300 g pork very thinly (about 0.5 cm thick) (2 minutes).

Slice 100 g leeks thinly (white and light green parts) and rinse well if needed (2 minutes).

Chop 5 g garlic (1 minute). Total Prep: 5 minutes.

Heat a skillet over high heat (0.5 minutes). Add 15 ml olive oil.

Quickly sear the pork slices in the hot pan in a single layer for 1 minute per side, just until cooked through (2 minutes total). Remove pork from the pan and set aside.

Add the sliced leeks and chopped garlic to the same pan. Sauté, stirring, until softened (3 minutes).

Return the pork to the pan. Add 50 ml water or stock, 2 g salt, and 1 g pepper. Stir to combine and heat through briefly (1 minute).

Serve immediately. Total Cook: 0.5 + 2 + 3 + 1 = 6.5 minutes. Total Time: 5 + 6.5 = 11.5 minutes.
