Quick Lean Ground Beef and Bell Pepper Skillet

- Bell Pepper300 g
- Onion150 g
- Garlic10 g

- Soy Sauce30 ml
- Ginger10 g
- Cornstarch5 g
- Water60 ml
Instructions

Thinly slice 300g of bell peppers and 150g of onion. Mince 10g of garlic. Grate 10g of fresh ginger. (8 minutes)

In a small bowl, whisk together 30ml of soy sauce, the grated ginger, 5g of cornstarch, and 60ml of water to create the sauce. Set aside. (1 minute - concurrent with chopping)

Heat 5ml of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 450g of lean ground beef and break it apart with a spoon. Season with 1g of salt and 0.5g of pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. (7 minutes)

Drain off any excess fat from the skillet. (1 minute)

Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp-tender. (3 minutes)
