Beef Steak150 g
Pearl Couscous50 g
Snap Peas100 g
Olive Oil10 ml
Garlic5 g
Fresh Parsley5 g
Salt2 g
Black Pepper1 g

Instructions

Step 1: Pat the beef steak dry and season generously with salt and black pepper. Mince the garlic.

Step 2: Cook pearl couscous according to package directions, typically by boiling 150ml water, adding couscous, reducing heat, and simmering for 8-10 minutes until tender. Fluff with a fork and stir in chopped fresh parsley.

Step 3: Heat 5ml olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove steak from pan and let rest.

Step 4: In the same pan, add the remaining 5ml olive oil, minced garlic, and snap peas. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until crisp-tender.

Step 5: Slice the rested steak and serve immediately with the herbed couscous and sautéed snap peas.
