Pan-Seared Chicken Thigh with Braised Cabbage and Potatoes

- Chicken Thigh180 g
- Onion40 g
- Garlic1 clove
- Olive Oil10 ml
- Salt0.5 tsp
- Black Pepper0.3 tsp
- Cabbage150 g
- Potato150 g
- Vegetable Broth50 ml
- Caraway Seeds0.5 tsp
Instructions

Slice cabbage thinly, peel and dice potato into 1/2-inch cubes. Chop the onion and mince the garlic. Pat chicken thigh dry and season with salt and pepper.

Heat 5ml of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thigh and sear for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.

Add the remaining 5ml of olive oil to the same skillet. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and caraway seeds, cook for 1 minute more.
