Pan-Seared Chicken Breast with Sautéed Broccoli and Asparagus

raw chicken breast380 g
broccoli florets200 g
asparagus spears150 g
olive oil30 ml
garlic powder2 g
onion powder2 g
paprika2 g
salt2 g
black pepper1 g

Instructions

Pat the raw chicken breast dry with paper towels.

Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Rub the spice mixture generously over the chicken breast.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breast to the hot skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 74°C/165°F). Remove chicken from skillet and let rest on a plate.

While the chicken rests, add the broccoli florets and asparagus spears to the same skillet (add a little more oil if needed).

Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.

Slice the rested chicken breast and serve alongside the sautéed vegetables.
