Whole Wheat Pasta100 g
Crushed Tomatoes300 g
Onion50 g
Garlic10 g
Olive Oil5 g
Dried Oregano2 g
Salt2 g
Black Pepper1 g

Instructions

Step 1: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole wheat pasta and cook according to package directions (usually 8-10 minutes for al dente).

Step 2: While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Step 3: Add the lean mince beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Step 4: Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 5: Once pasta is cooked, drain it and add directly to the skillet with the mince beef sauce. Toss to combine. Serve hot.
