Lean Beef and Winter Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Beef Sirloin225 g
Cabbage200 g
Carrot100 g
Onion50 g
Garlic5 g
Soy Sauce15 ml
Olive Oil15 ml
Rice Vinegar7.5 ml
Sesame Seeds5 g
Salt0.3 tsp
Black Pepper0.1 tsp

Instructions

Step 1: Slice beef sirloin into thin strips. Shred cabbage, julienne carrots, thinly slice onion, and mince garlic.

Step 2: Heat half the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef strips and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Add the remaining olive oil to the pan. Add onion, carrots, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 4: Add minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the vegetables. Stir well. Return the beef to the pan.

Step 5: Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
