Italian Sausage with Quick Sautéed Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Leeks

Ingredients
- Broccoli100 g
- Olive Oil10 ml
- Salt1 g
- Pepper0.5 g
- Sausage180 g
- Cauliflower100 g
- Leeks70 g
Instructions

Slice the Italian sausage (180 g) into rounds about 1 cm thick. This takes about 2 minutes.
- 2Step 2
Wash and chop the broccoli (100 g) and cauliflower (100 g) into small florets. Wash and thinly slice the leeks (70 g). This takes about 7 minutes.
- 3Step 3
Heat olive oil (10 ml) in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat (1 minute).

Add the sausage slices to the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Remove sausage from the pan and set aside. This takes about 8 minutes.

Add the broccoli and cauliflower florets to the same pan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften and brown lightly. Add a splash of water (about 30 ml) if needed to help them steam slightly. This takes about 6 minutes.
