Italian Sausage180 g
Cabbage200 g
Tomatoes150 g
Onion50 g
Garlic8 g
Olive Oil5 ml
Dried Oregano1 g
Salt1 g

Instructions

Remove the casing from the Italian sausage (180 g) if necessary. Roughly chop the cabbage (200 g), dice the tomatoes (150 g), chop the onion (50 g), and mince the garlic (8 g). This takes about 10 minutes.

Heat the olive oil (5 ml) in a large skillet over medium-high heat (allow 1 minute to heat). Add the sausage meat (180 g) and break it up with a spoon as it cooks. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through.

Add the chopped onion (50 g) to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Stir in the minced garlic (8 g) and dried oregano (1 g). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the chopped cabbage (200 g) to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until the cabbage starts to wilt.

Stir in the diced tomatoes (150 g), salt (1 g), and pepper (0.5 g). Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are heated through and release some juice.

Serve the skillet meal hot.
