Garlic5 g
Bell pepper80 g
Canned diced tomatoes200 g
Kidney beans150 g
Beef broth100 ml
Chili powder5 g
Cumin3 g
Smoked paprika2 g
Dried oregano1 g
Salt1.5 g
Black pepper0.5 g
Corn kernels50 g
Cilantro5 g

Instructions

Dice the onion and bell pepper into small pieces. Mince the garlic.

Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess fat.

Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.

Stir in the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and dried oregano. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the canned diced tomatoes (undrained), kidney beans (rinsed and drained), beef broth, and corn kernels.

Stir everything together, bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for at least 20-30 minutes to allow the flavors to deepen. Stir occasionally.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
