Beef Fajitas

Instructions

Slice the beef skirt steak (200 g) against the grain into thin strips. Slice the bell peppers (150 g) and onion (80 g) into thin strips.

In a bowl, toss the beef strips with half of the olive oil (7.5 ml), lime juice (10 ml), chili powder (4 g), cumin (3 g), paprika (2 g), garlic powder (2 g), and salt (1 g). Let marinate for at least 5 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Heat the remaining olive oil (7.5 ml) in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute.

Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until softened and slightly charred.

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the marinated beef strips to the other side. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
