- Lean Beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced9 oz
- Pasta (dry)3 oz
- Medium Onion0.3 cup diced
- Garlic1 clove minced
- Crushed Tomatoes10 oz
- Olive Oil0.8 tbsp
- Salt0.3 tsp
- Black Pepper0.1 tsp
- Frozen Mixed Vegetables1 cup
- Dried Italian Herbs0.8 tsp
Instructions

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/4 cup of pasta water.

While pasta cooks, slice the lean beef into thin strips.

Heat 0.75 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
