Vietnamese Tofu & Herb Wraps (Lá Lốt Inspired)

Ingredients (Serves 1)

Firm Tofu100 g
Cabbage50 g
Peanuts15 g
Fish Sauce5 ml
Lime0.3 unit
Garlic1 clove
Fresh Basil5 g
Olive Oil5 ml

Instructions

Press the tofu to remove excess water, then crumble it into small pieces. Roughly chop the peanuts.

Heat olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add crumbled tofu and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned and heated through.

In a small bowl, whisk together fish sauce and fresh lime juice to make a quick dressing.

Separate individual cabbage leaves to use as wraps. Place a portion of the seasoned tofu mixture into each cabbage leaf. Top with fresh basil leaves and chopped peanuts.

Serve immediately as fresh wraps, optionally drizzling with the lime-fish sauce dressing.
