Vietnamese Fresh Chicken Rolls with Nuoc Cham Dip

Chicken Breast60 g
Rice Paper30 g
Lettuce20 g
Cucumber20 g
Carrot10 g
Mint2 g
Cilantro2 g
Fish Sauce5 ml
Lime Juice5 ml
Sugar2 g
Garlic2 g

Instructions

Shred the cooked chicken breast into thin strips.

Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Julienne the cucumber and carrot. Roughly chop mint and cilantro.

Prepare the Nuoc Cham dipping sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and minced garlic until sugar dissolves. Add 5ml of water if needed to dilute.

Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the warm water for 15-20 seconds until pliable. Lay it flat on a clean surface.

Arrange a small amount of lettuce, cucumber, carrot, mint, cilantro, and shredded chicken near one edge of the rice paper.

Fold the edge closest to the filling over the ingredients, then fold in the sides. Roll tightly from bottom to top to form a compact roll.

Repeat with remaining rice paper and fillings. Serve immediately with the Nuoc Cham dipping sauce.
