Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Wash apples and carefully core them, leaving the bottom intact. You can use an apple corer or a small knife.

In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and nutmeg.

Place apples in a small baking dish. Sprinkle the spice mixture into the cored centers of the apples.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until apples are tender but still hold their shape. Cooking time may vary depending on apple size and type.
