Instructions

Toast the slices of bread for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy.

While the bread toasts, dice the tomatoes (about 1 cm pieces). Finely chop the fresh basil.

In a small bowl, combine the ricotta with a drizzle of olive oil, chopped basil, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Mix until smooth.

Spread half of the ricotta mixture evenly over each slice of toasted bread.
