Savory Protein Oatmeal with Soft-Boiled Egg

- Garlic5 g
- Spinach40 g
- Olive Oil5 ml
- Salt1 g
- Black Pepper0.5 g
- Oats40 g
- Water150 ml
- Protein Powder15 g

Instructions

Bring a small pot of water to a boil for the eggs (approximately 500 ml). Gently lower 2 eggs into the boiling water and cook for 6 minutes for a soft-boiled yolk. (6 minutes)

While eggs are cooking, finely chop 40g of onion and mince 10g of garlic. Wash 80g of spinach.

In a separate small saucepan, heat 10ml of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant. (2 minutes)

Add 80g of oats and 300ml of water to the saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid. (3 minutes)

Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in 30g of protein powder, 80g of spinach, 2g of salt, and 1g of black pepper until the spinach wilts and the protein powder is fully incorporated. (1 minute)
