Pork sausage65 g
Mushrooms100 g
Onion40 g
Oil5 ml
Vegetable broth300 ml

Instructions

Finely dice the onion (40g) and slice the mushrooms (100g). Crumble the sausage (65g) out of its casing if necessary. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

Heat the oil (5ml) in a small saucepan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the crumbled sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, for 4-5 minutes until browned. (Cook time: 5 minutes)

Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened and the mushrooms have released their liquid, about 4-5 minutes. (Cook time: 5 minutes)

Stir in the oats (65g), vegetable broth (300ml), salt (1g), pepper (0.4g), and herbs (2g). Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and the liquid is absorbed. (Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 7 minutes)
