Savory Baked Tofu Bites

Savory Baked Tofu Bites

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Firm tofu200 g
Soy sauce (dairy-free)30 ml
Sesame oil10 ml
Garlic powder2 g

Instructions

1
Press the tofu to remove excess water. You can do this by wrapping it in paper towels or a clean cloth and placing something heavy on top for about 15-20 minutes. Then, cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes (about 2-3 cm).
2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder.
3
Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes, or longer if time allows, for more flavor.
4
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5
Arrange the marinated tofu cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
6
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and slightly firm.
7
Let cool slightly before serving as a snack.
