Quick Savory Fried Taro Cake
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these savory taro cakes are flavored with a hint of garlic and ground pork, served with a light dipping sauce.

- Garlic3 g
- Green Onion5 g

- Taro50 g
- Ground Pork30 g
- Water10 ml
Instructions

Peel and dice taro into small pieces. Steam or boil until very tender, about 5-7 minutes. Mash well.

Mince garlic and chop green onion. In a bowl, combine mashed taro, ground pork, rice flour, minced garlic, half of the chopped green onion, and 10ml water. Mix well to form a firm dough.

Divide the mixture and flatten into 2-3 small patties.

Heat cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Fry the taro cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
