Taro50 g
Ground Pork30 g
Rice Flour8 g
Garlic3 g
Green Onion5 g
Fish Sauce5 ml
Cooking Oil6 ml
Water10 ml

Instructions

Peel and dice taro into small pieces. Steam or boil until very tender, about 5-7 minutes. Mash well.

Mince garlic and chop green onion. In a bowl, combine mashed taro, ground pork, rice flour, minced garlic, half of the chopped green onion, and 10ml water. Mix well to form a firm dough.

Divide the mixture and flatten into 2-3 small patties.

Heat cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Fry the taro cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve hot with a small dish of fish sauce for dipping, garnished with remaining green onion.
