Banana100 g
Sugar5 g
Coconut Milk50 ml
Cornstarch5 g
Vanilla Extract2 ml
Cooking Oil5 ml
Water15 ml

Instructions

Slice banana into 1 cm thick rounds.

In a small bowl, whisk together coconut milk, cornstarch, and 15ml water until smooth. Set aside.

Heat cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add banana slices and sprinkle with sugar. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and caramelized.

Remove caramelized bananas from the pan and set aside.

Pour the coconut milk mixture into the same pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract.

Arrange caramelized banana slices on a plate and drizzle generously with the warm coconut sauce.
