Mediterranean Hummus with Summer Veggie Sticks

Ingredients (Serves 4)

Chickpeas75 g
Tahini0.5 tbsp
Lemon Juice0.8 tbsp
Garlic0.3 clove
Olive Oil0.4 tbsp
Cold Water1 tbsp
Cumin0.1 tsp
Salt0.1 tsp
Carrot0.3 large
Celery0.5 stalk
Cucumber0.1 large
Bell Pepper0.3 medium

Instructions

Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly. Peel the garlic clove.

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, cold water, cumin, and salt.

Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more cold water as needed to reach desired consistency.

Wash and cut carrots, celery, cucumber, and bell pepper into sticks.

Transfer hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil.

Serve with the fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.
