Ingredients (Serves 3)

Lean beef sirloin/flank steak, thinly sliced200 g
Cooked brown rice200 g
Yellow onion, sliced50 g
Bell pepper (any color), sliced67 g
Carrots, sliced33 g
Broccoli florets50 g
Garlic, minced7 g
Fresh ginger, minced5 g
Soy sauce13 ml
Rice vinegar7 ml
Toasted sesame oil5 ml
Honey15 g
Cornstarch5 g
Cooking oil8 ml
Water15 ml

Instructions

Prepare brown rice according to package directions.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add sliced beef and stir-fry quickly until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add onion, bell pepper, carrots, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add minced garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Return the beef to the skillet.

Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens and coats everything, about 1-2 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Divide the cooked brown rice among 3 bowls.
