Rye bread60 g
Lentils125 g
Olive oil5 ml
Lemon5 ml
Parsley10 g
Onion powder1 g
Garlic powder1 g
Salt1 g
Pepper0.5 g

Instructions

Drain and rinse the cooked lentils thoroughly. In a small bowl, mash the lentils with a fork until mostly smooth but still some texture remains (2 minutes).

Add the olive oil, lemon juice, finely chopped parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed lentils. Mix well to combine (2 minutes).

Toast the rye bread slices in a toaster or pan until golden and crisp (3-4 minutes).

Spread the lentil mixture generously over the toasted rye bread. Serve immediately (1 minute).
