High-Protein Buckwheat Porridge with Apple and Walnuts

- Whey Protein Isolate35 g
- Apple100 g
- Walnuts12 g
- Water200 ml
- Cinnamon0.5 tsp
Instructions

Step 1: Rinse the buckwheat groats under cold water.

Step 2: In a small saucepan, combine the rinsed buckwheat groats and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes, or until water is mostly absorbed.

Step 3: While the buckwheat cooks, core and dice the apple into small pieces. Roughly chop the walnuts.

Step 4: Remove the buckwheat from heat. Stir in the whey protein isolate until fully combined and no lumps remain. Add the diced apple, chopped walnuts, and cinnamon. Serve immediately.
