Instructions

Place the eggs in a small pot and cover with cold water by about 2 cm (1 minute).

Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat (5-7 minutes).

Once boiling, immediately remove the pot from the heat, cover, and let stand for 10-12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs (12 minutes).
