Beef and Green Bean Stir-fry with Rice

- Olive oil4 ml

- Sirloin steak (raw)190 g
- Green beans125 g
- Soy sauce (or Tamari for GF)5 ml
- Fresh ginger2.5 g
Instructions

Cook the dry rice according to package instructions. Keep warm.

Slice the sirloin steak thinly against the grain. Trim ends off green beans. Mince the garlic and grate the fresh ginger.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce (or Tamari), minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.

Heat half of the olive oil (about 4ml) in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.

Add the sliced beef in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan). Season with salt and pepper. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned but still slightly pink inside. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
