Instructions

Step 1: Rinse the buckwheat groats under cold water. In a small saucepan, combine the rinsed buckwheat groats and milk. Bring to a gentle boil.

Step 2: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and buckwheat is tender.

Step 3: While the buckwheat cooks, wash and core the apple, then dice it into small pieces.

Step 4: Once the porridge is cooked, stir in the diced apple, walnuts, cinnamon, and honey. Serve warm.
