Firm tofu (pressed)300 g
Olive oil5 ml
Onion, chopped50 g
Bell pepper, chopped75 g
Spinach75 g
Nutritional yeast20 g
Garlic, minced5 g
Turmeric powder2.5 g
Kala Namak (black salt, optional)1 g
Salt1 g
Black pepper0.5 g

Instructions

Press the tofu to remove excess water. Crumble the tofu into a bowl using your hands or a fork.

Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Stir in the crumbled tofu, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and kala namak (if using). Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until the tofu is heated through and slightly browned in places.

Stir in the spinach and nutritional yeast. Cook until the spinach is wilted, about 1-2 minutes.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
