Ingredients (Serves 3)

rolled oats50 g
unsweetened dairy-free milk200 ml
dairy-free protein powder (unflavored or vanilla)12 g
almond butter8 g
apple35 g

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and unsweetened dairy-free milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Reduce heat to low and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.

Remove from heat. In a small bowl, whisk the dairy-free protein powder with a few tablespoons of hot water or milk to create a smooth paste. Stir this into the hot oatmeal until fully combined.

Divide the oatmeal into 3 bowls.

Slice the apple thinly. Top each bowl of oatmeal with sliced apple and a dollop of almond butter.
