High-Protein Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Oats40 g
Water200 ml
Protein Powder25 g
Apple75 g
Walnuts10 g
Cinnamon2.5 g
Maple Syrup5 ml

Instructions

STEP 1 (2 minutes): Dice the apple into small, bite-sized pieces. Measure out all remaining ingredients.

STEP 2 (1 minute): In a medium saucepan, bring 400ml of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

STEP 3 (7 minutes): Add the 80g of oats and 5g of cinnamon to the boiling water. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and most of the water is absorbed, about 7 minutes.

STEP 4 (2 minutes): Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the 50g of protein powder until fully combined and no clumps remain. Add the diced apple and 20ml of maple syrup (if using), stirring well.

STEP 5 (1 minute): Divide the oatmeal into two bowls and sprinkle 20g of walnuts evenly over both servings. Serve immediately.
