Buckwheat Groats40 g
Milk150 ml
Apple90 g
Walnuts10 g
Whey Protein Powder30 g
Cinnamon1 g

Instructions

Finely dice the apple.

In a medium saucepan, combine buckwheat groats, milk, diced apple, and cinnamon. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.

Simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the buckwheat is tender and the porridge has thickened. If too thick, add a splash more milk.

Remove from heat. Stir in the whey protein powder until fully dissolved and smooth.

Divide the porridge between two bowls. Roughly chop the walnuts and sprinkle them evenly over each serving before enjoying.
