Oats50 g
Water250 ml
Apple100 g
Lactose-free protein powder20 g
Walnuts10 g
Cinnamon2 g

Instructions

Finely dice the apple (this should take about 2 minutes).

In a small saucepan, combine the oats, water, and diced apple. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat (this takes about 2 minutes).

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Remove from heat. Stir in the lactose-free protein powder and cinnamon until well combined (this takes about 1 minute).

Divide the oatmeal between two bowls and top each serving with chopped walnuts (this takes about 1 minute).
